The texts collected in this book are articles from the clandestine newspaper We Cannot Remain Silent<\/em>, edited between September 1975 and January 1981. Its creators were a collective of grassroots Christian men and women led by the Jesuit priest Jos\u00e9 Aldunate (1917\u20132019). This magazine was produced clandestinely by a collective of Christian men and women who considered themselves \u201cin constant birth.\u201d By reason of their faith, the collective had the courage to risk their own lives to articulate a dissident political voice.
