Lecturer and researcher in the Social Studies of Health Program at the Institute for Science and Innovation in Medicine (ICIM) of the Universidad del Desarrollo. She teaches courses in health anthropology, has led research on the mental health of refugees and migrant women in Chile, and participates in research projects on the sexual and reproductive health of indigenous and migrant youth.
She is part of the Chilean Network of Anthropology and Health and the Chilean Network of Research on Health and Migration. She has published extensively in national and international scientific journals in the fields of public health and anthropology of health. She resides in the Los Lagos Region.
