Chile. Doctor of History from the University of Valencia (2003). He is an associate professor at the Institute of History of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and head of its Department of Universal History. His research and teaching work focuses on the study of the interaction between national and global dimensions in the ideological and political phenomena of contemporary history.
