PhD in Sociology and Master's in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Bachelor in Social Work and Master in Urban Development from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She has participated in research and publications on immigration and has worked on the design and implementation of social policies in social housing issues. She is currently Director and academic at the School of Social Work of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Central University of Chile. Her main lines of research are: migration, housing, and social policies.
