Spain. Professor at the University of Barcelona. Founder and director of the Applied Phonetics Laboratory. He has led various competitive national and international research projects (since 1997) and around thirty doctoral theses. He was secretary of the Spanish Society of Language and Literature Didactics – SEDLL (1996-1998), coordinator of the UB doctoral program in Language and Literature Teaching (1998-2004), and director (since its founding in 2005) of the scientific journal PHONICA.
