Chile. A lawyer, he has been a professor at the University of Chile, Diego Portales University, Andrés Bello University, Universidad del Desarrollo, and Adolfo Ibáñez University, and has been a visiting professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona, Spain. He has worked as a literary critic and opinion columnist on cultural and social issues for over 30 years, writing in Chile and abroad for publications such as the newspapers La Época, El Mercurio in Chile, and El Observador in Spain, and the magazines Reseña, Quimera of Spain, as well as for digital media like El Periodista and El Desconcierto, among others. In 2025, he published his first short story collection, El ojo de Pascal.
