Chile. Graduated with a bachelor's and doctorate in History from the University of Seville, where he worked as a research fellow and interim substitute professor in the Department of Modern History. Winner of the “Antonino Fernández y Eusicinia González” historical research prize (2009), he has several publications on Colonial History and the Carrera de Indias, most notably Razón de Estado y Buen Gobierno. La Guerra Defensiva y el imperialismo español en tiempos de Felipe III (2010).
