Chile. Doctorate in Latin American Studies, master's degree in Arts with a specialization in Musicology, and a Music Professor with advanced studies in classical guitar, primarily trained at the University of Chile. Currently, his main research focus is on music for children in contemporary Chile. He has also worked with the phenomenon of cultural diplomacy and representations of Latin America through the music of classic Hollywood cinema, and on a more pedagogical level, with strategies for teaching music appreciation. Since 2012, he has been a faculty member at the Institute of Music at Universidad Alberto Hurtado, where he has held positions such as director of the Music Education program and has been part of the institutional curriculum committee.
