Australia. Holds a PhD from the University of Western Australia and is a historian at the Universidad Andrés Bello. He is the author of *Ulrike Meinhof and the Red Army Faction: Performing Terrorism* (2011) and *The Wars inside Chile’s Barracks: Remembering Military Service under Pinochet* (2017), which won the Best Book Award (Social Sciences) from the Southern Cone Studies Section of the Latin American Studies Association in 2018.
