USA. Ph.D. Internationally recognized as a professor and lecturer on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Dr. Aron is the director of the Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis at New York University. He was the founding president of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP) and, previously, was the President of the American Psychological Association's Division of Psychoanalysis (39). He was a close colleague of the late Stephen Mitchell, with whom he started the journal Psychoanalytic Dialogues and with whom he edited the Relational Perspectives Book Series. In addition to Meeting of Minds, Dr. Aron is the author and editor of numerous books, including, most recently, A Psychotherapy for the People, co-authored with Karen Starr.
