Chile. Holds a degree in History and a Diploma in Contemporary Political Philosophy from the Universidad Alberto Hurtado. He is currently an independent researcher and a member of the Geocultura Research Collective (with Alex Zapata). His research interests include the trajectory of the Popular Unity in the world-economy, the history of capitalism on a global scale, anti-systemic movements, historical materialism, and the use of world-systems analysis as a historiographical interpretive perspective. He has been accepted as a doctoral student (PhD) in Sociology at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton, a core institution for world-systems analysis.
