Chile. Doctor of Latin American Studies, Master of Latin American Studies, and sociologist from the University of Chile. Her areas of specialization include topics of Latin American critical thought, such as Afro-descendant intellectualities and the history and culture of the Caribbean. She is the author of over forty texts, including journal articles, book chapters, forewords, and reviews, as well as the book Blackness, Indianism, and their intellectuals: Aimé Césaire and Fausto Reinaga (2014). He has also edited several books and coordinated files with distinguished researchers in the field. She helped found the Chilean Network of Afro-descendant Studies in 2019 and is a member of the Network of Literary and Cultural Studies of Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean (REMCYC).
