Chile. PhD in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. He is the director of the School of Anthropology at Universidad Diego Portales and a research associate at the Center for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies. His research has ethnographically examined the relationship between the formation of citizenships, the production of residential spaces, ordinary ethics, and demands for dignity in Santiago, Chile. In addition to *Casa y dignidad*, he is the author of *The Right to Dignity: Housing Struggles, City Making, and Citizenship in Urban Chile* (2022) and, together with Nicolás Angelcos, co-editor of the book *Vivir con dignidad: transformaciones sociales y políticas de los sectores populares en Chile* (2023).
