Chile. Born in Rancagua on March 25, 1910, died in Santiago on November 1, 1947. In his short life, he had a prolific body of work in both poetry and narrative. Some of his poetry works include: Viaje del alba a la noche, Las alas del fénix, Glosario gongorino. His narrative works, in addition to La vida simplemente, include Huellas en la tierra, La sombra de las cumbres, Comarca del jazmín, Llampo de sangre. He died of tuberculosis on November 1, 1947, and his remains were buried in the cemetery of Rancagua, where his tomb can be visited.
