He is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Chile and an associate researcher at the Center for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies (COES). In addition to Class Power and Labor Politics, he is the author of Building Power to Shape Labor Policy: Unions, Employer Associations, and Reform in Neoliberal Chile (2023). He has published articles in academic journals such as The European Journal of Industrial Relations, Business and Politics, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility.
