Chile. Professor at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Ph.D. in Theology from the School of Theology and Ministry (STM), Boston College, USA, and Master in Theology and Philosophy from the Centre Sèvres, Paris. Part of his research and teaching focuses on a Christian critique of the cultural values, beliefs, and attitudes underlying the current ecological crisis, as well as an ecological updating of Christianity in both its teaching and practice. He is interested in the resources that Ecotheology—images, concepts—can provide to address ecological challenges.
