Chile. State Professor of Philosophy. Archaeologist and Master of Historical Sciences, with a mention in Ethnohistory from the University of Chile. She is a full professor in the Department of Anthropology at the Alberto Hurtado University and a full and emeritus professor at the University of Chile. Specialist in Andean archaeology, ethnohistory, and ethnography. She has led FONDECYT projects in the highlands and coast of Antofagasta, which are documented in numerous publications. She received the Amanda Labarca award in 2015.
