Chile. Bachelor of Science and Humanities and Bachelor of History from the University of Santiago, Chile. Doctor of History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She has worked as a researcher at the USACH Heritage Archive and the Andrés Bello Central Archive of the University of Chile. She has participated as a research assistant and thesis student in various Fondecyt and Fondart projects, and as a senior researcher for the European Union's Horizon 2020 project “Resisteance: Rebellion and Resistance in the Iberian Empires, 16th-19th centuries.” She is the principal investigator for the FONDART project “Medical Folklore and Traditional Medicine in Chile: Valorization of studies and publications carried out between 1940 and 1970.” She received the Miguel Cruchaga Tocornal Award, given by the Chilean Academy of History for the best doctoral thesis in 2021, for her research titled “The Scientific and Social Construction of Syphilis in Chile through Medical Practice, 1850-1950.”.
