Chile. Initially trained in Mathematics Education and holding a Bachelor's Degree in Education, he later shifted toward the Social Sciences. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Development Sciences, a Master's Degree in Social Ethics and Human Development, and a Ph.D. in Sociology. He is a Full Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, affiliated with the School of Social Work. He is the principal investigator in Fondecyt projects focused on the observation of public policies from contemporary social and normative theories. He is the editor of Alberto Hurtado's posthumous work, Moral Social.
