Reflecting Chilean social reality is not just describing it: it is also intervening in it from the collective responsibility of building a more livable and equitable country. Based on the analysis of data, policies, and social indicators, this work seeks to contribute to the critical diagnosis of structural challenges and institutional responses aimed at guaranteeing the right to a dignified life, in a context marked by the urgency of moving towards more inclusive, equitable, and territorially relevant social protection. The housing deficit, the migrant population, living conditions in Mapuche territories and cities, poverty and its complexities, access to education, work, and labor market integration, social mobility to overcome poverty, interruptions in the school trajectories of girls, boys, and adolescents, women's participation in the world of work, and the devaluation of unpaid care are some of the diverse topics addressed in this book from the perspectives of different social organizations.
