Chile. He is a priest, engineer, and professor with over ten years of teaching and pastoral experience with high school youth. He studied for a doctorate in Education at Boston College (USA). His dissertation, which is the basis for this book, earned him the award for “Graduate Research of the Year” (2018) from the Educational Change Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). He has published articles in the journals Pensamiento Educativo, Journal of Educational Change, Journal of Catholic Education, and Curriculum Journal. In 2023, he published the books Jesuit Education at a Crossroads and The Curriculum Carries the Mission. Since September 2019, he has been the Chilean Jesuit Provincial's delegate for school education and president of the Ignatian Educational Network (REI).
