At Ediciones UAH we want you to enjoy your order, so we ask that you please review the terms and privacy policy, and express your agreement with them so that we can complete your purchase.

Terms of sale, warranty, book exchanges and/or returns, privacy policy

Every transaction shall be subject to the condition of acceptance of terms by the buyer. For this purpose, you must accept the terms at the time of making the purchase and consent shall be deemed signed from the moment said acceptance is checked. Every sale in the store online is subject to confirmation of inventory. In the event of a breach of inventory between the time of purchase and dispatch, the Ediciones UAH administration will contact the user to proceed with the refund of the payment.

Payment methods:

Credit and debit cards issued by domestic banks. Payment is processed through Transbank WebPay Plus, which ensures security during the purchase process through data encryption.

Tax document

Through this page, purchases will only be made with ballot. If you would like to make a purchase with an invoice, please contact us via email before completing your purchase.

Shipping:

Shipments are made through Correos de Chile for deliveries nationwide.
Once the purchase has been processed and shipped, you will be informed of the tracking number to check the status of your purchase.
The products will be delivered to the address provided at the time of purchase, and it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the address is entered correctly.

Deliveries are made on every Wednesday. Among the next 3 to 10 business days, depending on your location, your order will be delivered to your home.

Given the current situation and the quarantines in place in various municipalities across the country, delivery times may be longer than usual.

You can ship items for an exchange or return through Correos de Chile or another carrier courier, in addition to in-person purchases. If the item is out of stock, a refund will be issued—minus the administrative fees indicated above—via the payment method used at the time of purchase, within 90 days of the customer submitting their bank information.

The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Ediciones UAH will cover shipping costs only if you receive a defective book (incorrectly bound, with missing pages, or other printing errors).

Changes:

If the purchased book does not have the reported technical characteristics, arrives damaged or incomplete, it can be exchanged immediately (if the same product is available) or you can request the return of the book to our offices and a refund of the money, as well as an exchange of that book for another. You can also do this via email within three business days of receiving the book. In this way, the defective one will be replaced or the money and shipping cost will be refunded in the event that stock has run out. Book exchanges on sale items are only permitted in the event of a defect.

Refunds:

A refund, return, or exchange can only be made when items are returned using the proper procedure. If a return is made at our offices after the specified deadlines or without the receipt or invoice, we regret that we cannot issue a refund or resend the merchandise to you.

Book Returns:

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund. We have a three-business-day return policy for any reason. Returned books must be in perfect condition and wrapped in plastic. As long as the return is received within the return period and in the same condition as when you purchased it, you will receive a full refund of the sale price, minus a $2.000 processing fee. The return period begins when you receive the product at your home address. These terms do not apply to sale items.

Privacy Policy:

Ediciones UAH does not sell or disclose buyers’ personal information to third parties or institutions; such information is used exclusively to add buyers to the email mailing list to send updates, provided they have given their consent, and they may unsubscribe at any time. The shipping address provided by the customer is confidential and will not be stored in any databases.
