Today, she leads the Research Ethics and Safety Unit at UC. She has an academic background in social work and education from universities in the country. Her research topics have included: education, poverty contexts and educational policy, the relationship between family, school, and community, and school social work. She seeks to contribute an interdisciplinary perspective to understanding these phenomena with an applied emphasis, contributing to the generation of social and educational innovations.
