This is a journey through the memory of this human group driven by the need to build a community of thought and service founded on two inspiring contributions: the centuries-old tradition of social Catholicism and the Latin American character of our historical destiny.

Francisco López Fernández

Uruguay. He has lived in Chile since 1968. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, a Bachelor's degree in Development Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. He has been a professor at Ilades, director of studies at the Vicariate of Workers' Pastoral Care, director of the Department of Social Studies at Ilades, director of the Master's Program in Ethics and Human Development, and dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Alberto Hurtado University.
