Chile. She holds a PhD in History from Freie Universität Berlin and is a professor at various universities. Her research themes focus on social representations circulated through periodic and occasional publications. She is currently developing her postdoctoral research at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, focusing on generic brands and the symbolic reworking of the national through popular prints in fin-de-siècle Chile (1880-1920). Among her publications, her undergraduate thesis *La sociedad en vitrina: Mujeres en la publicidad. Chile a mediados del siglo XX* (Santiago, 2007) stands out, as well as articles in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Australia.
