Chile. Bachelor of History from the University of Valparaíso, Master's and Doctorate in History from the University of Santiago, Chile. His research areas have focused on the contemporary political history of Chile, including the history of the right-wing, local governments, and political clientelism. He is the author of the book *La UDI tras el telón* (The UDI Behind the Curtain) and co-editor of *Transiciones: perspectivas historiográficas sobre la posdictadura chilena 1988-2018* (Transitions: Historiographical Perspectives on the Chilean Post-Dictatorship 1987-2018). He is currently the principal investigator of the Postdoctoral Fondecyt Project No. 3200032, titled: “From the Keys of the Transition to the Keys of La Moneda. A Political-Social History of Renovación Nacional (1987-2014),” under the auspices of ICSO, Diego Portales University, where he works as a lecturer and researcher.
