Chile. She is a doctoral candidate in Art History at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, France, in a joint supervision program with the Institute of Higher Social Studies of the National University of General San Martín, Argentina. She is a professor and researcher in the Department of Art at the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the Alberto Hurtado University. Her main area of research is 19th-century Latin American art and visual culture history. She is particularly interested in the visual representations of nature, which she approaches from both their material dimension and their ideological and aesthetic scope.
