Spain. Doctor of Philosophy and Director of the Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy at the Universidad Andrés Bello (Santiago, Chile). He has worked as a Professor of Metaphysics at the Autonomous University of Madrid and of Ethics at Loyola University. He has also conducted research at the Universities of Berlin, Oxford, Padua, Tübingen, and Freiburg. His research interests focus on the philosophy of Plato and Aristotle and their relevance in contemporary thought. He is the author of various articles on ancient philosophy in specialized journals and collective volumes. He recently edited the book "Azar: el sacro desorden de nuestras vidas" (Chance: The Sacred Disorder of Our Lives) (Errata Naturae, 2015). He balances his teaching and research activities with his work as a translator of essays and fiction.
