Chile. She holds a Ph.D. and Master's degree in History of Science and Scientific Communication from the Universitat de València and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Universidad de Chile. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado (UAH) and Associate Director of the Center for Studies in Science, Technology, and Society. Her research specialization lies in the production and circulation of science and technology during the 19th and 20th centuries, focusing primarily on the role of public institutions and media in constructing risk, sociotechnical controversies, and shaping expertise.
