Chile. Holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in History from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Master of Education and Ph.D. in Anthropology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of History of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Pedagogical Coordinator of the School Archives Program at the same institution, as well as Executive Director of Momento Ciudadano, an organization dedicated to promoting civic, citizen, and democratic education in the country. His main research areas are the history of Chilean education, civic education, and historical consciousness.
