Chile. Art historian and independent curator. Doctor of Art History from the University of Texas, Austin (United States), master's and bachelor's degrees in Art Theory and History from the University of Chile. He is the author of the book In the Beginning: Art, Archives, and Technologies During the Dictatorship in Chile (Editorial Metales Pesados, 2013) and co-editor of Trans-Andean Exchanges: Art Stories Between Argentina and Chile (Editorial UAH), as well as various articles in academic and specialized journals, where he has focused on the study of contemporary Chilean and Latin American art, media archaeology, and archival research. As a curator, he has worked on numerous national and international exhibitions in various venues such as MNBA, MAC, MAVI, CCPLM, CNAC, MAC (Valdivia), MNBA (Argentina), Ars Electronica Festival (Austria), among others. He is an associate professor at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado and director of the Master's Program in Image Studies at the same university.
