Author of over one hundred specialized academic publications on social movements, community development, public policy networks, political elites, inequality, and social mobility. In applied knowledge, his work in social policy evaluation and research methodology stands out. He has been a visiting professor at the University of the Republic in Uruguay; the University of Texas at Austin, USA; and Leiden University, Netherlands.
