He is an academic, director of the Department of Procedural Law, and director of the Diploma in Criminal Procedural Reform at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado. Academic coordinator of the Project to Support Criminal Procedural Reform in Mexico and member of Chile's High Public Management Council.
