«The university selection device. Claudio Ramos Zincke.

Within the framework of the Colloquia on Science, Technology, and Society, on Wednesday 09/27, the launch of the book «The University Selection Device. Merit, Science, and Social Justice. (Chile, 1850-2022)» by expert sociologist Claudio Ramos Zincke will take place. It will be an in-person event and will feature the presence of 4 experts in higher education.

Panelists:

Leonor Varas. Director of the Department of Educational Evaluation, Measurement, and Registration (Demre) of the University of Chile.

Verónica Santelices. Doctor of Education and academic at the Faculty of Education, Catholic University.

Francisco Salinas. Postdoctoral researcher at the UDP Social Science Research Institute (ICSO).

Moderate:

The panel will be moderated by Renato Moretti, Ph.D. in Sociology and academic at the Faculty of Psychology of the UAH.
