Social Cartography of Chile is an annual collection that seeks to produce situated knowledge about the country's social reality based on the experience and reflection of civil society organizations. Its commitment is to articulate the knowledge that emerges from territorial work with conceptual categories capable of reading that reality with greater depth and building bridges toward the design of public policies. This second issue takes up the concern for margins and inequalities from the first volume, but shifts its gaze toward a dimension that is more difficult to measure and intervene in: social cohesion and coexistence. Exclusion also operates within formally integrated communities, and the precariousness of their bonds constitutes a central dimension of contemporary poverty.
