Chile. Researcher, musicologist, music teacher, arranger, and composer. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Ethnomusicology at the University of Texas, Austin, USA. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education and her qualification as a music education teacher from Universidad Andrés Bello, and she studied composition and arrangement in popular music at the Escuela Moderna de Música in Chile. She earned her Master's degree in Musicology, Music Education, and Performance of Early Music from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain.
She has presented her research work at conferences and congresses both in Chile and internationally. She won the "Doctorate Abroad" scholarships competition from Becas Chile, as well as being awarded the Fund for the Promotion of National Music, in the research line, from the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage of Chile.
