Chile. Lawyer from the University of Chile, with postgraduate studies at the University of Valencia, Spain, and in the specialization program of the International Training Centre of the ILO, the University of Bologna, and the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He is a professor of Law at the Alberto Hurtado University and a visiting professor at the Institute of International Studies of the University of Chile. He has published more than thirty articles in specialized journals in Chile, Uruguay, Venezuela, Peru, Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and England, and the books La responsabilidad laboral de las empresas multinacionales (Santiago, 2008), Derechos laborales y acuerdos de libre comercio en América Latina (Montevideo, 2005), and Derechos, trabajo y empleo (Santiago, 2004). Since 2002, he has worked as a researcher in the Studies Department of the Labor Directorate.
