Book Fair at UAH / Thinking about Chile 1973 – 2023

Fairs

Wednesday 08/30 → Thursday 08/31 → Starting at 12 hours. → Central courtyard Alberto Hurtado University → Almirante Barroso 10, Santiago center.

Commemorating 50 years since the military coup that forever changed our society and shook the entire country, we wanted to organize the "Thinking Chile 1973 – 2023" book fair, inviting a group of publishers whose catalogs feature titles related to the effects of this institutional and democratic breakdown, as well as publications and studies from subsequent years.

Amidst repression and fear, civil society created forms of organization and resistance, including publishing houses and other civil society organizations.
