«Latin American Christianity without a culture?. The challenge of a theological-spiritual rearticulation edited by Christoph Theobald, Carlos Álvarez and Hernán Rojas.

The book explores whether the notion of the «exculturation of Christianity,» coined by Danièle Hervieu-Léger for the French context, is relevant to our continent. If it is not yet today, could it become so in the future? Given the profound transformations of Latin American societies and the place of religion within them, a return to the spiritual sources that have invigorated the history of our continent is advocated. Only through the rearticulation of Christianity, theology, and spirituality will it be possible to give birth to a new Christian style, capable of living in contexts of a Church in diaspora.
