«Trans-Andean Exchanges. Art histories between Argentina and Chile. Editors, Silvia Dolinko, Ana María Risco and Sebastián Vidal.

The book will be presented as part of the inauguration of the academic program of the Art Department of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the University.

The works gathered in this book were written by a large group of specialists and are organized into three axes: “Travel and transits”, “Poetics and positionings” and “Networks and institutions”.

The book will be presented by Silvia Dolinko, one of its editors, and Paz López, an academic from the University of Chile.

Silvia Dolinko holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Buenos Aires and is a CONICET researcher. She is a specialist in Latin American art history, with an emphasis on the history of modern and contemporary graphic imagery.

Paz López holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy with a specialization in Aesthetics and Art Theory from the University of Chile and is an academic in the Department of Art Theory at the Faculty of Arts of the same university. Her research focuses on critical discourse and contemporary art in Chile.
