Micro-fiction Contest | «A Story I Want to Forget.».

This year, in commemoration of Book Day, which will be celebrated on April 23rd, we would like to invite the entire community to participate in the Contest microshort stories «A story I want to forget.

In conjunction with the UAH Library, DAE – Sports and Healthy Living, and Ediciones UAH, we are organizing this contest so you can unleash your pen and paper.. Ironically, when you want to forget, you don't forget. However, in the experience of writing, you can release attachments and look at traumatic or painful experiences from another perspective, which can help you cope with pains, deficiencies, or absences that are somewhat ungrateful for our existence, though not for our life experience.

The jury will be composed of academics from our university who also have a long track record in writing. Beatriz Garcia-Huidobro, Ediciones UAH publisher and writer; Juan Cristobal Peña, journalist, academic, and writer; Fernando Perez, academic, poet, and writer. Prizes will be awarded for: first, second, and third place. Likewise, there will be three honorable mentions.
And they will be awarded on April 23rd at the Book Day Fair – UAH.
