John Noemi

Chile. Doctor of Theology from the University of Münster in Germany. He is the first layman to hold a professorship as a tenured professor in the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Between 2001 and 2004, he served as dean of the same faculty. He has also worked as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Theology of Catalonia in Barcelona and as a visiting researcher at the Universities of Münster and Tübingen in Germany. Among his publications are the books: Is Christian Hope Liberating? (1990), Faith in Search of Understanding (1993), The World, Creation and Promise of God (1996), Hope in Search of Understanding. Theological Glimpses (2005).
