From there, evidence emerges that strains the mechanisms and assumptions through which culture and ethnography have been conceived, with a special focus on the movement of people, objects, and imaginaries within a global context of capitalist expansion, which in no way has managed to dilute the ethnic on the systemic plain, nor has it erased the necessary social embedding in the face of economic fantasy.

Alejandro Garces
Chile. He is an anthropologist and holds a PhD in Social Anthropology. He is an academic at the Institute of Archaeological Investigations and Museum of the Catholic University of the North (Chile). He has conducted research on urban spaces and economies in migratory contexts in Chile and Spain, and is currently studying transnational flows in the border regions of Peru, Bolivia, and Chile.Danae Mlyarnz

Director of the ProyectAmerica Corporation and in charge of the Citizen Participation Area at Instituto Igualdad. She was a public policy advisor to President Michelle Bachelet and former Citizen Advocate in the same government. Councilor of the Ñuñoa Commune during the period 2004 to 2008. She has worked in qualitative and quantitative Social Research and in the design and implementation of Citizen Participation processes in Public Policies.Walter Imilan

His research interests address the relationships between space and identity construction processes.
