Chile. He is an anthropologist and holds a PhD in Social Anthropology. He is an academic at the Institute of Archaeological Investigations and Museum of the Catholic University of the North (Chile). He has conducted research on urban spaces and economies in migratory contexts in Chile and Spain, and is currently studying transnational flows in the border regions of Peru, Bolivia, and Chile.
