«Mazapán Childhoods. Representations of Childhood in the Music of the Group Mazapán. Juan Carlos Poveda.

This book rescues and establishes the value of the Mazapán group as creators of music for children, with a repertoire that brought into play resources and procedures originating from early European music, the traditional repertoire of different cultures, and popular music. There are many generations of children who have grown up singing and playing to the rhythm of Mazapán.
