The (im)possible grieving process
Relatives of disappeared detainees: political violence, trauma, and memory

This text is based on the significant number of disappeared detainees in Chile, as well as the repercussions that this traumatic situation has had on society. It is an unresolved pending issue that generates controversy and circulates in the social imagination. The reflection on the grieving process of these family members has allowed us to link psychoanalytic theory, its relationship with the social context, and the praxis that has occurred in some Latin American countries in this work.
